  • Facing acne
    • It is highly recommended to look for a specialist to address severe acne
      • The treatment process varies
  • Identifying the types of acne
    • Acne is not just about pimples; there are various kinds
      • Non-inflamed vs. inflamed
    • Treat cystic acne like a fresh wound
      • Know “adult” acne or rosacea
    • This is commonly found on the nose in the cheek area
      •  Folliculitis is caused by bacteria
  • Treatments to consider
    • It is common with teenagers and can be treated with antibiotics
    • Keratosis pilaris is common for young adults and can be treated with exfoliation
      • Excessive heat exposure contributes
    • Rashes from cancer drugs look like acne, but it isn’t
      • Do not use harsh products
    • Use topical products to combat steriod acne

  • Grades of acne
    • There are four grades - mild, moderate, moderate to severe, and severe cystic acne
    • Bacteria tends to be a little bit easier to treat over the non inflamed acne
    • Going to the clinic for treatment from moderate grade acne is common
      • Natural treament is possible
